“I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden.”

Gardens restore the spirit, provide physical and spiritual sustenance and replenish the soul.  I have been professionally gardening for clients since 2005 both independently and also with Treefrog Landscapes, Wise Ways Herbals and School Sprouts Educational Gardens.  In 2011 I received my Permaculture Design Certification, and I incorporate the wise and ecologically sound principals of Permaculture into my gardening practice.   My favorite plants are those that perform multiple functions on the landscape- (Take Echinacea for example-it provides beauty, potent medicine, winter forage for birds, and attracts beneficial pollinators to the garden. And  it is an at-risk medicinal so growing it is an act of plant conservation!).   I love working with folks to help co-create the gardens and landscape they envision.
